Sakura Shimeji (さくらしめじ) is a Japanese folk duo under STARDUST PROMOTION as a part of their EBiDAN branch. The unit was formed on 14 June 2014 as "Gaku & Hyoga" on Tokyo MX EBiDAN programme.

The unit name finally decided on 24 November 2014 at EBiDAN 39&KiDS Hoshiotoko Matsuri 2014.

Trivia[]

  • Their fans' name, "Kinokorian" (きのこりあん) comes from Hyoga and Gaku idea.
  • Hyoga and Gaku have been learning guitar since they were in elementary school.
  • They once perform in Chengdu, China.
  • Hyoga and Gaku graduated from High School in 2020 and continuing their study at the university in the same year. They celebrated their graduation by holding an event that was delivered on LINE LIVE on 30 March 2020.
  • Their goal is to have one-man performance at Saitama Super Arena. It's originally Hyoga's dream because they did their first street live at Omiya, in Saitama Prefecture.
